Smithers / Telkwa Transfer Station and Recycling Depot 

6150 Donaldson Road 
9 km southeast of Smithers, off Hwy 16 at Donaldson Rd 

Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm

Granisle Transfer Station 

66201 Babine Lake Road 
 Approximately 3 km up Bell Copper Mine Road west of the Village of Granisle.  Follow the main highway road through Granisle, go past the hockey rink on the left and marina on the right, follow road which becomes Bell Copper Mine

Monday, Thursday, Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, Closed

The Reuse shed is temporarily closed.

Burns Lake Transfer Station and Recycling Depot 

4410 Babine Lake Road 
Turn off Highway 16 onto Babine Lake Road. Continue 2.6 km. The Transfer Station will be on the right hand side. 

Transfer Station Hours:
Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm

Recycle Depot Hours: 
Wednesday - Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm
Monday - Tuesday, Closed

Southside Transfer Station

36007 Eakin Settlement Road
21 km south of the ferry terminal on the south side of Francois Lake. Follow the main road and go through Grassy Plains, heading toward Ootsa Lake. At the junction, keep left toward Takysie Lake.  The Transfer Station will be on the right hand side. 

Sunday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 8 am to 4 pm
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, Closed

Fraser Lake (Area D) Transfer Station

3366 Fraser Lake Airport Road 
Turn off Highway 16 onto Chowsunket St. After 1.8 km, stay right as it turns into Fraser Lake Airport Road. After 2.2 km, the Transfer Station will be on the left hand side. 

Monday - Wednesday and Friday, 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday, 10 am - 6 pm
Closed Thursdays

*Please note - to accomodate work on the site, the Reuse Shed at the Area D (Fraser Lake) Transfer Station will be closed until August 31, 2022

Fort St. James Transfer Station and Recycling Depot 

1521 Necoslie Road 
Turn off Highway 27 onto Necoslie Road. After 1.4 km the Transfer Station will be on the right hand side. 

Transfer Station Hours:
Monday - Friday & Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm

Recycle Depot Hours:
Wednesday to Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm

Vanderhoof Transfer Station and Recycling Depot 

650 Dump Road 
 Off Dump Road within the District of Vanderhoof.Turn East off of Highway 16 onto Dump Road and travel about 300 m.

Monday - Friday 8 am to 6 pm
Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm

Turn off Highway 16 at McKilligan Rd and, keeping to the left, continute onto Aitken Rd.
