Neighbourhood Emergency Planning Program

The focus of the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako’s (RDBN) Neighbourhood Emergency Plan (NEP) is to provide the tools to rural residents that will assist them in developing personal and neighbourhood emergency preparedness.

The NEP will provide current contact information that the community and the RDBN can utilize in an emergency event impacting their area, as well as specific information regarding how the community will support each other during various types of emergencies.

During a disaster, having a neighbourhood emergency plan will help members of a community support one another and receive timely, up-to-date information from the RDBN.

If your community is interested in acquiring more information on the neighbourhood planning program and what support the RDBN can provide, please call 250-692-3195 or email the Protective Services department at protective.services@rdbn.bc.ca.
